When Teddy is not playing with his favorite squeaky toy, he can be found snuggled in his dog bed or in your lap! He is a 5 month old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix, currently weighing about 12 pounds. He is tall and vocal with a poodle prance, and his temperament is sweet and snuggly like a shih tzu. Teddy is doing well with his new house training efforts despite having no set routine in his former household. He likes to play - with toys or another dog - and would do best in a home where someone is available most of the time. He does not like to be kenneled, but he is still a puppy and needs to be watched or gated in a smaller space when you're away. Like all puppies, Teddy will benefit from a socialization and obedience training class. Teddy has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vetted. He is in great health and is ready to become a member of your family! He has not been with cats, but he does well with other dogs and older children. Teddy's adoption fee is $400 plus MN sales tax. You are invited to meet Teddy, a NorthStar Shih Tzu Rescue dog, at the PetCo in Eden Prairie (8020 Glen Lane) on Sunday, March 10th from Noon - 2 PM. See you there!
