My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT HANK.
Handsome, 10-month-old Great Dane Mix
Hank is a classic Country gentleman that really strives to please. He watches every move you make and has the focus of an eagle when he gets his eye on the prize, whether that be a delicious treat or a fun stuffy toy. Hank doesn't realize his own size and strength, so he'll need an adopter that will continue his training, being kind, firm and consistent. Once he understands what you want, Hank is happy to deliver for you.
Since arriving at his foster home, he has adjusted well to crate training, learning to share space with the cats and knowing where to go to ask to go outside for bathroom breaks. He has been good with the foster homes two Shepherd/Husky mix female dogs but needs to be watched around food as he is not big on sharing his meals. Hank is a smart boy that picks up on cues quickly. He walks respectfully on a leash and has enjoyed meeting new people, including older children that are comfortable around large dogs. Hank will need daily exercise.
