Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dudley is a sweet, super confident kitten! He loves to be held and cuddled. He gets along great with the other foster kittens, as well as the resident cats. Please have a lot of love to give him, he is demanding! He is believed to be a Maine Coon mix, and is very fluffy. His BFF Marty would like to be adopted along with Dudley. Together, these boys are very entertaining and rambunctious. Please email his foster at anangelrn@aol.com for any questions.

Antioch hours are every Friday 4pm-7pm plus Saturday and Sunday 10am-1:30pm (except the third Sat of the month, no adoption event that day).

Clayton hours are every Saturday and Sunday, 10am-1:30pm. Clayton store is located at 5404 Ygnacio Valley Rd.

All of HALO's cats are available for adoptions have been spayed or neutered and up-to-date on their vaccinations.

All the animals are microchipped.

Dogs and cats receive a complete check by a veterinarian.

HALO's cats and kittens can be seen at Pet Food Express every Friday 4pm-7pm plus Saturday and Sunday 10am-1:30pm (except the third Saturday, we do not have an adoption event). Pet Food Express is located at 5829 Lone Tree Way B, Antioch, CA.

H.A.L.O. is the East Contra Costa County Homeless Animals' Lifeline Organization, better known as H.A.L.O. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer, 501c(3) charitable organization who assists dogs, cats and their owners in Eastern Contra Costa County.
We rescue approximatly 500 animals a year, all by volunteers, all in our homes and in our hearts.
We are not a shelter,
We have grant funds for the spaying and neutering of East County ferals and food for them if needed.
We have a program called "Angel Ears" where certified dogs and their trainers go to the local libraries and the children read to the dogs. This has proven a very effective way to increase reading skills rapidly. We also take the dogs to senior facilities.
We are in need of volunteer in many capacities.
