My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Richfield, MN

I'm an affectionate, gentle, attentive pup who likes to be near my person. My three fav things besides my person are walks, chipmunks, and chew toys.

I enjoy going on walks with my person and also like it when my dog buddy walks with us. I also enjoy exploring the backyard with my dog buddy searching for chipmunks.

Inside I like to pass the time chewing on my toys and sometimes my dog buddy's toys (we like to swap occasionally) and having belly rubs. I'd like to play more often with my dog buddy but he's an older guy, so I do my best to respect his boundaries.

I'm a smart one and quickly learning how to walk on a leash without pulling (unless I see a squirrel), I'm almost house trained. I don't mess my kennel or the bed. I go outside when I'm told, but sometimes I forget and go by the door. So far I've been hanging out in my kennel while my person is at work. I'd rather not, but I'm still a pup and need supervision when I'm free. My first days as a foster I slept through the night in my kennel, but now I lay next to my person because I prefer to snuggle and gentle kisses on my head. I don't snuggle with the cats, however, but we get along just fine. I'm getting relaxed enough that I don't bark very often unless I want to play or when my kennel door first closes behind me. Sometimes when I meet new people I bark because I don't know them yet.

I'm a very good and sweet boy who likes a balance between active time and calm time.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
