Look at those ears!!! Nola is a young mixed breed girl from City of McMinnville Animal Control thats been in since 2-14-24. Nola LOVED getting to interact with her Playcare people & is 100% house hippo material! She enjoyed getting to stretch her legs around the farm but was even happier to be the center of attention. Nola was neutral to other dogs and settled in her crate like a pro. She would make a wonderful addition to anyone's couch! Nola is 48.6lbs, UTD on shots, about 2-3yo, spayed, & HW positive. (We have her HW tx covered at our vets, but she needs a quiet fosterhome to recover in)

Submit Application

I email application out & then call references, vet reference, & home visit (if in TN)

2.
Meet the Pet

If in TN, we arrange meet & greet with people & other pets in home to see how it goes

3.
Approve Application

If all checks out & meeting went well, then the dog can go home with person & the final contract will be signed

Additional adoption info

If in TN, we prefer people do the foster to adopt program before finalizing the adoption. That way we know that the home is a perfect fit for the dog & the new owner.

We have random adoption events at local businesses, Chamber of Commerce , & Tractor Supply. The shelter is located at the Public Works building at 1266 Belmont Dr Mcminnville, TN

I (Hollie) am a volunteer for City AC. I am in charge of the adoptions/fosters/ & volunteers. I am a full time teacher, but my passion is caring for animals. They need a voice & I try to do what I can to be theirs.
Keith is the Director of AC, but is very willing to work with whomever we can to get these babies into good homes! He does the stuff during week day hours & I cover the after hours & weekends.
