My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jax, born 2/4/22, is a two and a half year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. He is being surrendered to the local shelter in Georgia since his family can no longer care for him. Jax was raised with small children and other dogs of all sizes and gets along with them all beautifully. He is a couch potato for the most part but does enjoy some outside play time. We do not know if he gets along with cats.
If you want a laid back, easy peasy dog to slide in to your family life, look no further. And besides, he's cute!

He is current on all vaccines, neutered, and heartworm negative.

Jax is currently in a high kill shelter in Georgia and needs an adopter, foster, and/or sponsor to catch a ride to Wisconsin on 10/26/24 to be considered safe.

Go meet their pets

If adopting a dog or puppy off transport, then they go home with the adopter that day and go on a 5 day trial. Meet and greets scheduled after adoption application is approved, then they will be at the dogs fosters home.
