Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Alacazam - Al for short - entered Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray, and when he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on September 25th. He is a young Frosted Face at only 6 years old and weighs 14 lbs. Al is the perfect balance: he loves walks and is up for any adventures, but he's also happy to cuddle on the couch at home!
Al has been living with a Foster since October, and we have learned so much about what he is in a home!
His Fling Family reports:
"Mornings with Al are a total crack-up! He dashes around the house like a tiny black blur, spinning, jumping, and chasing his tail—pure joy in motion.
After breakfast, Al is all about walk time. He patiently sits by the door, ready for his leash, and once outside, he takes the neighborhood by storm. With his nimble balance-beam walks along the curb and his expert nose sniffing out all the best scents, he’s got his daily adventures down. And when he’s not cruising the block, you’ll find him showing off his acrobatic skills at home, scaling furniture for the perfect view—or maybe sneaking a crumb or two!
Al’s love for his people is unmatched. Whether he’s shadowing you around the house (he’s got a serious case of FOMO - fear of missing out) or greeting you with tail wags and excitement after you’ve been out, he’s always nearby. And if you take him along for the ride, he’s the perfect travel buddy, curling up in the backseat and snoozing like a pro.
This smart boy is a quick learner! He already knows sit, stay, here, and touch, and he’s eager to impress with his manners.
As you can see in the video, Al plays so nicely with his blind foster sister Wednesday. It took him some time to figure out her play style because she's blind, but he has always been gentle with her. They cuddle next each other often, too.
At bedtime, Al loves nothing more than burrowing into a pile of pillows, snoring softly as he settles in for the night.
Whether you’re up for an adventure or a cozy day at home, Alacazam is ready to be your loyal companion. He’s a little dog with a big heart, and he’s sure to steal yours!"
Alacazam is ready for his forever home! To meet this bundle of joy, please email placement@ frostedfacesfoundation.org.
