My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby wants someone to love and love her. She has no idea why she has been through so much the last year. Ruby was adopted and returned because she didn't want to play! She's such a good girl and only wants to snuggle, get pet, have your attention, and relax in a soft bed. She never tires of you touching her. She is not a fan of being picked up and prefers you to be by her side. She was in a foster home where the other cats bullied her because of her docile nature. After being returned she lived peacefully with multiple cats and her care taker passed away. She is now in another foster home and sweeter than sweet. When will she get a break??? Although she is only about 3 years old, she's an old soul at heart. Ruby is not the cat for you if you want active. She is very calm and mellow and totally into relaxing and lounging. She loves sleeping in bed with you. She's fine with other cats and dogs as well!
All cats are neutered/spayed, FIV/FELV tested, up to date on vaccines and microchipped prior to adoption.

All of our animals are in loving foster homes. Therefore appointments are needed to meet the animals in our care. Hours vary depending on the schedule of the individual foster.

More about this rescue

We are a NJ nonprofit completely run by dedicated volunteers. We do everything possible to educate the public about the importance of neuter/spay, TNR to keep colonies under control, and find great homes for the adoptable pets in need. We work with our adopters after adoption to make sure both family members, human and furry, are happy and adjusted.
