My name is Natalie!

Meet Natalie - a 17 lb, 4 year old sweet mini poodle who is waiting for her fur-ever home! Natalie was rescued from a puppy mill where life was not easy but she is starting to learn that life can be filled with yummy food, comfortable beds, and caring humans with lots of snacks to give.

Natalie is quite timid and prefers to stay comfy in the safety of any corner she finds or one of her many beds. She is curious and likes to explore her surroundings when the humans are not paying attention. When she's done exploring, Natalie likes to nap with her bear and blanket.

Natalie does very well being left alone in her crate/playpen. She is quite cautious of people and will need time and space to learn that she is now safe.

While Natalie is a bit cautious of the outside world, Natalie walks well on leash and once outside, likes to sniff around until it's time to go home.

She potties outside however is still using training pads indoors overnight.

Natalie will certainly flourish with time and patience and can't wait to meet her fur-ever family.

She is currently being fostered with a resident dog in Queens, NY. Her adoption fee is $600.

Natalie is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
