My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

He is the go to for dog temperament testing at the shelter and gets along with every dog he meets! Cat friendly!
He started out a bit shy with new folks, but has totally blossomed! into a friendly boy. He’s still leaning how to get rid of his excitement and is a bit of a Humpty Dumpty, but we see a huge decrease in it when he’s exercised and happy. We think his previous owners did not socialize or do much with him so he is still learning how to control his energy, but does well with regular exercise and training.
He is a happy boy in a home environment and loves everyone. In the shelter he can be a bit spooky.

Amazing with dogs of ALL sizes. Would be great for an active family or hiking companion.

Haru is currently in a high kill shelter in Georgia and needs an adopter, foster, and/or sponsor to catch a ride to Wisconsin on 10/26/24 to be considered safe. Please apply to foster or adopt on our website www.muttlife.org.

We send food home and give a 5 day trial period, longer if needed to see if its a good match.

We do a home visit in person or virtually

Go meet their pets

If adopting a dog or puppy off transport, then they go home with the adopter that day and go on a 5 day trial. Meet and greets scheduled after adoption application is approved, then they will be at the dogs fosters home.
