Ruger, a 60lb 3 year old Hound Mix, is possibly the sweetest dog you'll ever meet! He craves attention and affection by curling up next to you or with little nudges of his head if you stop petting him. He gets so excited to meet new people and furry friends. Ruger enjoys car rides to the park where he likes to swim and hike. He loves playing fetch with his big green ball, and tossing plush toys around to himself in the house. He is house/crate trained, knows some basic commands, and would benefit greatly from scent work/recall training.
Ruger was abandoned by his previous owner, which is unfathomable because he is so well behaved, so loving, and an all-around great companion for any adventure or chill session. Looking to give Ruger a happy, permanent home?

The first step of our adoption process is an application. Please submit the application via email to the contact on the listing.

Approve Application

If an application is approved, the foster will contact you to set up a meet and greet.

3.
Meet the Pet

Meet and greets are set up only with an approved application.

Additional adoption info

Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, Microchip, UTD shots, deworming and take home bag.

Bridge To Home is a foster based all volunteer rescue group dedicated to helping the unwanted, abandoned and neglected dogs. We have rescued more than 1,000 in our two years of existence. We do monthly adoption events at local pet stores.
