My name is Callie!

Callie was found running around our neighborhood with no collar or microchip on 9/21/24. No owners have come forward to claim this sweet girl. She’s maybe 8 months old and 30 pounds. Unsure of breed but best guess is Mountain Cur mix. Beautiful brindle. No accidents in the house after the first day, does well in her crate, and gets along well with our dog. Unknown how she would do with kids or cats but my guess is she would do ok with older kids but cats might be a no. We are working on the silly puppy stuff like leash manners, puppy bites, and down which all improve each day! Smart and eager to please! She loves to play with toys!! Looking to rehome as we like our current 1 dog household. Kansas City shelters and rescues are all full so we are fostering this sweet pup until she can find her furever home! Spay surgery is scheduled. Would love to find an active family who can give this adorable girl all the attention and exercise she needs.
