Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calling all Dachshund Lovers!! Poppy is here and she’s ready to find her family! This playful and very active 2 yr. old girl will keep you on your toes. She would fit in quite nicely in many different family situations, but would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard. At 9 lbs., she would make a wonderful companion, and would like to go wherever you would want to take her. This little lady is very loving, is somewhat of a Velcro dog, always wanting to be where you are. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to snuggle in the evenings. She loves sleeping in bed with her humans. She is doing very well on her potty training skills, but is still learning to walk on a leash and understand boundaries. Poppy is up to date on all her vaccinations, had a negative heartworm test and is on monthly preventative. She’s also spayed, de-wormed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $375.00. If you are interested after reading her bio, please fill out an application on our website aaprescue.org
