My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at those stunning bright green eyes!! This gorgeous gray tabby mix girl emits so much beauty and grace that cats and people tend to fall in love with her.

Millie has done great with our other shelter felines and has easily become a fan favorite due to how sweet she is with others.

Millie is already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations so this sweet girl is ready to go home with you!

More about this shelter

The SEK Humane Society was started in 1973 with a very small building housing only around 20 dogs and cats. Now because of wonderful donations we have a bigger building and are able to house 90-95 dogs and 35-40 cats. We are a non-profit and are run on donations and a few grants. Our dedicated staff and volunteers have a deep passion for the homeless animals in our area and work hard everyday to help better their lives and educate the public.
