Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi. I'm Toby, an 11-year-old neutered male Bichon Frise mix. I was adopted from Safe Place a few years ago but sadly my owners passed away. I returned to Safe Place and I'm sure I can adapt to a new home. Currently, I'm with a foster.
I'm crate trained and walk well on a leash. I get along with other dogs and am learning all about cats. I'm very good about riding in the car. I'm very friendly and good natured.
Apart from declining vision due to age, I'm very healthy and have had good veterinary care. I will need regular grooming, however. In fact, Safe Place will be getting me groomed soon. I hope for another owner who wants to provide a loving forever home.
My $200 adoption donation includes vaccinations, a microchip, a recent Heartworm test which was negative, a leash and collar, my own crate, and a month's worth of food. Complete an application through our website www.safeplacepets.org and come meet me today!

Please check out our available pets and contact us to let us know which one(s) interest you. We'll arrange a site visit to your home and a meet-and-greet with your prospective pet once we have had a phone chat to determine if our rescue pet is a good fit for you and you for him/her. If you and the pet decide it's true love, we'll have you fill out an adoption contract and ask for an adoption donation (rather than a fee) of $100 per cat and $200 per dog. A certificate of adoption is mailed to you once the process is complete.
