My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

09/24/24 Dancer (A121609) is a 7-year-old AK Husky who weighed 47.7 pounds on intake!

Dancer was surrendered back to the shelter, hoping to find her new home again! She was previously kept outside and was said to be happy living that outdoor life! Dancer was said to be crate trained and mushing trained. She previously ran upfront and ran well with other female dogs! Courtesy of our amazing shelter fund, she was sent out for a dental and mass removal. She will need to come back to the shelter on 10/4 for suture removal. She is a sweet, happy girl, and if you are interested in meeting her, please let us know!

08/18/20 Dancer was surrendered to the shelter due to Dancer becoming destructive outside and too excitable inside. According to the previous owners, Dancer is housebroken (cries at door), rough when playing, shy, and does not mind well. The previous owners also stated that Dancer digs holes, chews fences and jumps on people. Dancer is shy when meeting new people, shy with children and shy when meeting new dogs, but friendly. Dancer is a very active dog; she will need a lot of physical and mental stimulation for her to be happy and content. Dancer would benefit from obedience classes to help her learn manners and gain confidence when meeting new people and other dogs. Dancer is looking for a very active family, one that will take the time to work with her on manners and exercise her daily! If you are interested in meeting Dancer, please let us know!October 18, 2024, 1:02 am
