Hi friends! Piggy here! I am a sweet and fun little lady that was unfortunately surrendered to the shelter because my brother and I did not get along in the home. As sad as that is, I am ready to start fresh and find my new forever home! I love people - kids included! I do well with them and would be a great family dog! I would need to be your only fur-baby though since I tend to be reactive towards most dogs and tend to lunge after cats. I promise that I will be worth it though and give you all the love in return! I am a bug cuddle bug and just crave human attention! I also love to go on walks and play around in the grass! I am a very well-rounded girl! I do sometimes pull and react towards other dogs when I am on my walks, so please be patient with me and be willing to work with me on this! When there are no other dogs around, I walk like a dream! I would love to be your new best friend! Come meet me here at the shelter and see if we may be a perfect match!

HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
