This handsome young man is looking for his forever home. He would love a home with a fenced backyard to play, as well as daily on leash walks. He is not recommended for a home with any children under the age of 12 due to his prey drive and arousal. He has the potential to live in a home with another dog with the proper introductions. He is required to go home with a basic manners or private training class at the time of his adoption.

Adoptable pets are now available through Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS)

Go meet their pets

Effective March 1, 2021 AARCS began a pilot to manage pet adoption services for The City of Calgary. The goal is to reduce the time adoptable pets spend sheltered, for the overall welfare of the animals. AARCS has an extensive fostering network, which increases the opportunity for animals to be cared for in homes, instead of shelters, while they wait for their new family. Animal Services will continue to carry out medical and dental care and spay and neuters for adoptable animals before they are transported to AARCS for adoption or fostering. https://aarcs.ca/adoptable-animals/
