My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Georgie, the ultimate cuddle companion!

Georgie is a 5-month-old kitten who lives for affection. Her favorite thing is to be as close as possible to her humans. She’ll gently mew and tap you, asking to be picked up, and once she’s snuggled in, she never wants to leave. If you’re busy, don’t worry—Georgie will patiently sit nearby. Her foster mom says, “I don’t think Georgie’s tank is ever full!”

She gets along well with her feline foster brothers and sisters, enjoying games of chase and hide-and-seek. She even enjoys being in the company of the foster family’s dog.

Despite being found weak and alone with a severely damaged eye (which had to be removed), Georgie is now a happy, healthy, affectionate kitten ready to give all her love. If you’re looking for a loving, snuggly companion, Georgie is the kitten for you!Her estimated birthday is 4/21/24.

If you want to meet her, please submit our online adoption application (https://www.fofct.org/adoption-application). Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs unless the adopter already has an energy and age-appropriate companion at home, and all adopters must live within 45 miles of Stamford. CT.

Go meet their pets

We don't have a shelter, but some Friends of Felines' cats and kittens are having sleepovers at Just Cat's in Stamford or in foster homes. Friends of Felines is also proud to announce a new level of partnership with Just Cats Veterinary Hospital, which has been providing veterinary care in our area since 1991. Their brand new facility at 1029 East Main Street in Stamford has an adoption area inside the Just Cats Store on the first level. Come in and visit some of the Friends of Felines cats and kittens that are waiting for adoption. The Just Cats store and adoption area are open from 8 am Monday through Saturday. Following your visit, should any cat or kitten pique your interest, you can fill out an application (available on-line at www.fofct.org).
