My name is Presley!

Presley is an adorable 5 month old Mini Schnauzer mix puppy. She came into the rescue with a broken back leg and spent  5+ weeks in a splint. She is healed up enough to not have to wear the splint any longer and has been spayed. She will need to continue to take it easy for about another month just to rebuild strength and complete the healing process. Doctor said no jumping on/off furnature and no rough housing with other dogs for a month. Presley is such a wild child, keeping her calm is not an easy task, she loves to run and play. Presley is a small girl at only 12 pounds and is expected to remain under 20 pounds when full grown. She has been doing amazing with potty training (since needing to be crated while in a splint). She may need continued work to be completely potty trained once given the freedom to be loose and active as normal. She loves attention but is also a wiggle butt which is how she broke her leg, she jumped out of a kennel attendants arms in a southern shelter. Chew toys are her favorite past time when she can't play with the other dogs in her foster home. She LOVES to play with the other dogs!  Her prior broken leg may cause her some pain in older age if arthritis sets in, any adopter should plan on providing care for this.  Presley's adoption fee of $300 covers her spay, microchip with registration, vaccines, and current monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventions.
