A21548 Cali is a black and white colored, approximately 2 to 3-year-old, 58-pound, spayed female Pitbull.
She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 08-27-2024 due to the fact he found her as a stray 2 weeks ago and couldn't locate the owner.
Cali is a friendly, excited girl her in the shelter. Our staff describes her as a nice girl who likes to play fetch and loves attention. She was easy to leash and well behaved on our walks. She has had some training and will "sit and "lay down upon command. She has no interest in other dogs here. Cali will be a fun-loving family member in her new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
