My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was transferred from Horry County Animal Shelter where I had been seized custody. I'm a bit on the timid side but once you get to know me I'm a real love bug. I don't do well in a crate but can do well in a room with a gate if you need to leave me for a while. I'm heart worm positive and have started a slow kill treatment protocol. I'm neutered and up to date on all vaccines. Come meet me and you will fall in love! Adopters must be 23 years old.

Kind Keeper, Inc. is a 501c(3) Non-profit animal rescue and NO KILL shelter. We take in abandoned, unwanted, and surrendered companion animals. We also accept "at risk" animals from surrounding county shelters. We strive to provide the best possible care for all animals in our custody and find loving "forever" homes for them. We always need volunteers and donations. We do not receive funding from any municipal or county entities. We depend on donations and grants to keep our doors open, helping as many animals as possible.
