My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Violetta, a 5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her gentle frame! This sweet giant is looking for a loving home where she can finally relax and show off her calm, affectionate nature. Though she's a large girl, Violetta is still underweight and working her way back to full strength. Despite her size, she's a gentle soul, perfectly polite on the leash and walking calmly past other dogs, even when they seem wary of her. In fact, she almost seems apologetic for being so big, backing away kindly when others react to her. Young kiddos might overwhelm her if they are too in her space-- Violetta is looking for a quiet space to relax!

Violetta isn't too interested in treats, but her sweet, laid-back personality shines through when she lets you shower her with cuddles. She's the ultimate softie, eager for a home where she can be loved for the kind-hearted gentle giant she is. If you're looking for a big, sweet companion with a heart of gold, Violetta is your girl!

Violetta is Heartworm Positive, which means she is available for foster-to-adopt while Animal Friends Alliance provides treatment. Don't worry, though, she's got a normal long life ahead of her, just need a few months of TLC and she'll be good to go! Please call 970-484-8516 or email adopt@savinganimalstoday.org with questions!
