Meet Howie!

Howie came to us when a good samaritan found him and his siblings and brought them to us. He was quickly adopted but recently returned due to no fault of his own. The adopters said they just didn't have time for him but that he was sweet and had no behavior issues.

Since he has been back in our care, he quickly got comfortable and started showing his loving personality. He loves playing with other kittens and exploring the facility. He likes to be pet and will lean into you to make sure you know that he wants more!

Each of their adoption fees is $170. The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, neuter, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption.

More about this shelter

Judy’s Forgotten Jewells is a licensed Non-Profit No Kill Animal Rescue Group. It was founded by Patricia L. Smith DVM in honor of her mother’s childhood dog “Judy Dog” and Jewell Animal Hospital. Dr. Smith believes that ALL animals deserve quality pet care and a loving home. Our rescue is supported by volunteers, the hospital staff, and pet passionate people in our community who donate money and supplies. Our goal is to help the pets who are at risk of being euthanized, pregnant and or homeless.
