My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow! My name is Rebel. I am just a little bit sad today. You see I am sitting in the cat room! Well the cat room is very nice and so are the employees and volunteers. It's just that I miss my home. I had been with my family for a while, but I guess things just got too busy with jobs and family responsibilities. Anyway there just wasn't time for me. So I am on the search for a new family to love. I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. Oh, there is one little thing I haven't mentioned yet. I am about ten years old. I hope that is not a problem for you, because it sure isn't for me. I am one of those cats that just likes to find my favorite "comfy" places and lie there most of the day. Does that sound like a cat that would fit into your schedule?

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
