Aladdin has an old soul, he is calm, sweet, and well on his way to being a serious lap cat. This laid-back little guy loves to play with his litter mates, but also will not miss the chance for snuggle time which give you the chance to admire the adorable spots in his super soft coat, the freckle on his nose, and multi-colored beans on his paws.

He is always the first to crawl up on my lap and join me in bed to sleep at night. He will curl up right next to your face, kiss you good night and then purr himself to sleep. This young sir is so gentle he would do well with even the smallest of children but has not yet had exposure to dogs.

Aladdin is about three months old, he is neutered, microchipped, and up to date with his vaccinations.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.

In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.

CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
