This helps Quality of Life Rehab & Foster Inc with pet care costs.
These babies were rescued at the age of two weeks and bottled fed by a wonderfully kind Good Samaritan. They are just now ready to start their vaccines and start looking for their forever families. We have several options available to prospective families that might be interested in one of these kids. They will be scheduled for all boosters at our local Ocala veterinarians. Approved families would have the opportunity to foster their own kitten and take them to their appointments. They would continue to foster their own kitten until the surgery is complete at four months of age. At that time the adoption is finalized. The benefit that we find in the foster to adopt program is that kittens can bond with their families at a young age. This works best with families that are in our local area because we cannot cover the expenses at veterinarians outside of our partnerships. Please feel free to text us at 352-843-6858 if you would like a link to an adoption application.
*It is noteworthy that we have no definitive information regarding the DNA on the kittens and cats we rescue. When asked to fill out the questionnaire in building the profile for these animals we are asked what breed they most closely resemble. We make educated determinations based on coat characteristics, personality traits, known history, and color variations. Things of this nature make it possible For us to make educated guesses only unless otherwise noted. While we do have some pedigree cats in our adoption program, rescued from a stray situation or surrendered by owners that have adopted them from other places, in the past.
The most important first part of our adoption application process is the veterinary references. If you do not have a veterinarian that can attest to your responsible pet ownership, please submit three personal or business references. We ask that these references not be family members if possible. Oftentimes adult children still living at home are trying to adopt their first pet and in an instance like that, we are happy to accept the veterinary reference of the parents and family pets.
