Say hello to Oscar! Oscar was found as an original stray and taken in by his finders. Unfortunately, he wasn't a fan of the resident pets! So, Oscar would love a home where he can savor all of the attention for himself! He does tend to have a bit of "stranger danger" feelings, but once he gets to know you, he's a lovable and affectionate boy! Oscar would do best in a home with teens and older due to his initial apprehensiveness. If you think you may be the right fit for this handsome boy, please fill out a feline adoption application and reach out to our feline staff directly.

Oscar's adoption fee includes:
Massachusetts Health Certificate
Spay/neuter surgery
Rabies vaccine for kittens over 3 months of age
1st FVRCP vaccine
1st deworming
Testing for Heartworm, FIV, and FLV
ID Microchip
Flea treatment including the use of Advantage monthly preventative
Ear cleaning, bathing, nail trimming, and other necessary grooming

Submit Application

Either submit an application in advance of visiting or upon your visit. Staff will approve your application as quickly as possible.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Meet with pets that are a potential to be your new family member. (This can be done prior to your application being approved.)

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you have found the right match staff will go over all the information you may need to help make the adoption successful.

BHS Adoption Hours:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Sunday Afternoon: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Closed to the public at Noon on the last Wednesday of every month.
