My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady is a sweet senior kitty who knows how to enjoy the finer things in life. At 13 years young, she’s looking for a cozy forever home where she can spend her days soaking up the sunlight and bird watching from her favorite window perch.
Lady is a gentle senior kitty who enjoys the simple pleasures in life. She’s incredibly docile and loves nothing more than lounging in cozy spots, basking in the calm of a quiet home. Lady is FIV+ and needs to be the only cat in your household or live with other cats who are FIV positive. It is also suspected that Lady has kidney issues and must be kept on a special diet.

Additional adoption info

HSNMB does not hold animals and all adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis in person at the shelter. Once the adoption is completed and the fee is paid, you must take the animal with you at that time.

Please be sure to bring a photo ID and cash or a credit card for the adoption fee. The primary caregiver is required to be present to go through the adoption process. Any children 5 and under and, in some cases, any existing dogs living in the home will be required to be present and meet the animal prior to adopting. Meet and greets are not required for all animals, but may be deemed necessary by HSNMB staff for specific pets.

Adoption Fees:
Cats (over 6 months of age): $60
Kittens (under 6 months of age): $100
Dogs (over 6 months of age): $110
Puppies (under 6 months of age): $140
Seniors ages 60 and up qualify for discounted adoptions fees.
