My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.

Our Billie boy is a 1 year old sweetheart who we rescued from being euthanized at the shelter. He had only a few hours left when one of our amazing volunteers sprang into action to save this handsome guy and his brother from certain death. We placed him in one of our wonderful foster homes and they have reported to us that he is a true joy to be around. He also has bonded with our Manx kitty named Maple. They are inseparable, so if you are looking for two kitties, they are an amazing pair. (Please read Maples bio as well)

Billie is affectionate, sweet, loving, and very grateful to be alive and is looking forward to finding his forever home. He would love to have a cat tree in his home and lots of toys. His foster home says when you bend down to pet him, he just plops over on the floor to give you his belly to rub. He loves to be with his humans wherever they are in the house. He would love a warm lap to nap on during TV time or while you are working from home. He is waiting to meet just the right family or person to help him live his best life ever. Could Billie be your guy? Apply to adopt him today.

He has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
