My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Wilson. I was found on a sidewalk in South Bend standing
beside a cardboard box with dry food dumped inside. As a small
kitten, I was loved by someone, but then my circumstances changed and
I was put out on the sidewalk. Luckily, an angel found me and now
things are really looking up!

I sleep in a clean bed with a Pet Refuge foster mom and her other
cats. I will purr so loud it will put you to sleep. My foster mom
says I am a "once in a lifetime" kinda cat. I am very social and like
to lie against humans. I give kisses on the nose.

For some reason, I am fascinated with water. Running faucets, The
swirling water of a stool. Water hitting the side of a shower door.
Also, I like to stand on computer keyboards. Sometimes I type
gibberish.

i have impeccable litterbox habits and prefer cat litter without
fragrances. I eat Purina Kitten Chow and like fresh water daily.
My dream is to have a cat tree. If we become roommates, would you
consider getting me one?

While I come from humble beginners, I appreciate the finer things of
life and living in a safe and loving home. Could we be roommates?

I'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adopt

Pet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. We are a limited admission shelter that supports our local animals control facilities by helping take in the overflow of cats and dogs from their facilities. We also take in owner surrenders as space allows.

Pet Refuge is a volunteer based shelter, learn more about us on our website - petrefuge.com or send an email to webmaster@petrefuge.com or leave a message at 574-231-1122.

We are always recruiting new volunteers. Our volunteers work hard and also have family and jobs away from Pet Refuge, we ask for your patience in correspondence.
