My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cranberry, a sweet and snuggly girl from our Fall Litter! She and her five littermates were born on August 12, 2024, on the porch of a kind stranger who tried to help their struggling mama. Sadly, their mama was too weak to survive after giving birth due to severe malnutrition. Despite their rough start, these resilient pups are now thriving in their loving foster home and are ready to find their forever families.

Cranberry is the perfect balance of playful and cuddly. She loves to romp around with her toys and siblings, showing off her playful side, but what she loves most is snuggle time! After a fun play session, Cranberry is always the first to curl up in your lap for some well-earned belly rubs and gentle head scratches. Her affectionate, easygoing nature makes her an ideal companion for anyone looking for a dog who enjoys both fun and cozy downtime.

At the perfect age to start learning and training, Cranberry would thrive in a home that can offer her lots of love and guidance as she grows. Her playful heart and love of snuggles make her a wonderful addition to any family, and she’s sure to bring warmth and happiness to her new home.

Currently located in a foster home in Colorado, Cranberry is waiting for her forever family. Could that family be yours?

OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Additional adoption info

The initial phase of our adoption protocol involves prospective adopters completing an adoption application.

Following submission, our administrative team conducts a thorough review, and if approved, the application is then forwarded to the animal's foster.

Subsequently, a phone interview is scheduled to address follow-up queries, provide additional information about the pet, and acquaint the adopter with our organization. If the interview is successful, arrangements are made for a meet and greet, along with a home visit. For pets adopted out of state, the meet and greet and home visit are conducted virtually.

The final steps in our adoption process include verification of identification, finalization of the adoption contract, and payment of the adoption fee.
