Meet Pepper, a lively 10-month-old male dog looking for a loving home. He leans in for petting from staff and is treat-motivated, making him eager to learn and bond. Pepper needs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, so an active lifestyle is a must. He would do best in a home without young children and with someone who has experience handling strong dogs. He is not yet neutered. If you're ready to give Pepper the training and attention he needs, he could be a wonderful companion for you!

Animal Care & Control of NYC (AC&C) encourages everyone to
come to one of our three full service Care Centers when looking
to adopt a pet. Beautiful dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and
rabbits are anxiously waiting for a home to call their own. All
AC&C adoptions include vaccinations, a microchip,
spay/neuter, one month of free pet health insurance, and a free
office visit at a participating veterinarian.

30,000 animals each year. A non-profit organization, AC&C is
under contract with the NYC Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene (DOHMH) to rescue, care for and find loving homes for
