Hello! My name is Ash, and I’m an adorable little gray male kitten just waiting for my forever home! I might be a bit shy at first, but once you get to know me, I promise we’ll have loads of fun together! I absolutely adore my siblings, and we love to cuddle and play with each other. I’m a little darker than my sister, who’s just as cozy and soft as the color of ash, just like me! When I’m not busy exploring or racing around with my siblings, you'll find me catching some quality nap time in a sunny spot. Some animals shown are rehoming courtesy posts for the current owners, and other animals are available for adoption through Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs).

All animals in the care of FRAs have their annual vaccinations, sterilization, FeLV/FIV test for cats, and a microchip. You must sign an adoption contract when adopting a pet through FRAs.

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization. FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
