My name is Barra!

Barra is a sweet, gentle cat who was found living outside with her four babies in late July. She is another cat whose owner no longer wanted her and put her outside to fend for herself. Barra is hardly more than a kitten herself, but she was an excellent mother. Two of her kittens have been adopted, but two, Eriskay and Scalpey, are still waiting for their forever homes and are living in their foster home with Barra. Barra enjoys playing with them and with some of the older kittens in the home. She remains particularly attached to Scalpey. While being held, she likes to rub the top of her head against her foster mom's chin.
