My name is Margo!

Margo is a resilient and gentle young female Pit Bull who has had quite the journey. Found as a stray in Memphis, she was rescued by a kind-hearted vet tech who noticed Margo was having issues "pooping." Margo was diagnosed with a rectal prolapse, a very painful and dangerous condition. She has undergone repair of the prolapse - it was a tough surgery, but she has finally recovered and so far seems to be doing great.

To say this dog is almost perfect is not an overstatement - her foster raves about her - she is so wonderful with her little girl it's insane. She's still nervous in new settings but they are working on that now that she's healed from her surgery.

Margo is a compact and muscle-y babe who looks like she weighs less than she does!
