Anko is a friendly and easygoing tabby kitten who will fit perfectly into any home. He loves to relax in his unique way-stretching out completely, whether it's across your lap or beside you on the sofa. No curling up for this laid-back kitty!

When he's not lounging, Anko is full of playful energy. He enjoys play fighting with other kittens and chasing after toys, with his absolute favorite being a wand toy that gets him leaping with excitement. His curiosity knows no bounds-he once even hopped into the bottom shelf of the refrigerator just to check things out!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
