Meet Ricky Bobby, an 8-year-old Shih Tzu x Poodle mix who’s as sweet as can be! He came to us as a found dog, and when we contacted his family, they told us they didn’t want him back. But that hasn’t slowed this gentle guy down! Ricky Bobby is looking for the “shake” to his “bake” – a loving human best friend to complete his life. He’s eager to share his heart with someone who will never leave him behind. Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
