I found Jake wondering at a park nearby my old neighborhood back in 2021. I saw him at the same park at least 4-5 times over the span of a few weeks before I decided to bring him in as my own. I took him to the vet and was told he was not microchipped, but unfortunately he had been out on the street on a while and they found heartworms in his system. I’ve been giving him heartworm medication while I’ve had him and he hasn’t shown any symptoms related to it. He’s a super sweet dog, very smart and obedient. He doesn’t get along with other dogs and does not like cats at all. He takes a little bit of special care but is worth every step of the way. He has so much love to give and I know he can be a great pet to someone out there.
