If you want a best friend who can always cheer you up or put a smile on your face, you need to meet Cash.
Happy boy Cash is all the love and fun you need in your life! He always has a wagging tail and a contagious ear-to-ear grin!
Cash hasn`t always had a reason to smile, though. He arrived at MCASAC after being tied to a park bench, abandoned by his previous owner. But Cash never seemed to get too down-- he quickly started making friends here at the shelter and has a great attitude about staying here until he finds a forever family!
He is an easy-going, sweet pup who likes the simple things in life-- slow walks, yummy treats, and snuggling up with you.
Oh, and of course his big rubber ball, pictured below. He is seriously obsessed! He brings his rubber ball everywhere, so we hope his future adopter will play lots of fetch with Cash!

The Adoption Center is open M,T,Th,Fr from 12-7pm and Saturday & Sunday from 12-5pm. The Shelter is closed to the public on Wednesdays.

The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC), proudly operated by the Montgomery County Office of Animal Services, provides high-standard sheltering and care to the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in Montgomery County and ensures the safety and welfare of the county’s citizens.

The Center’s doors are open to all animals in need from: dogs and cats to farm animals, wildlife, and exotics. Trained staff provide animals with daily care, mental and physical enrichment, health and wellness checks, and more. Through adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, education and outreach, the Center serves as a critical community resource to promote and advocate for responsible pet care. With community support and partnerships with other animal-welfare groups, our Foster, Rescue and Volunteer programs enhance and save the lives of even more homeless animals.
