Name: Lollipop
Nicknames: Lolli. Lolli Girl.
Breed: Bully mix
Sex: Female
Age: 4.5 years
Weight: 46 lbs.
Before OMD: Found tied to a tree in a park with a bag of 'Ol Roy dog food. Did her stray hold at animal control and we were then happy to scoop her up and welcome her into rescue.
Energy level: She’s a vibe matcher. You’re chaotic? She’s chaotic. You’re having a couch day? Make sure there’s a blanket for her too.
What she loves: Play time. Chasing the frisbee – not to be confused with fetch; she does not fetch. Benebones. Going for a ride in anything with wheels. People.
What we love: With her around you always have a sweet little shadow following you from room to room before curling up in the corner for a nap. Her booty bobbing – her tail is docked so it’s her version of a wag and yes, it is adorable.
Choose your own adventure: She’s a licker. She’s a snorer. Cute or annoying?
What she knows: Sit. No. Leash manners.
What she’s working on: Less mouthiness.
Dogs: Could go either way! Could be happy with a sibling; could also be content being the only pup. Other resident dogs should be able to give appropriate corrections (which she takes well) so they don’t get bullied ;).
Cats: She lives with a bunch and respects the dog-savvy ones, especially after a good swat. She absolutely will chase and harass an under-confident cat that runs from her.
Kids: Sure! She’s done well with the ones she’s met and doesn’t get overly excited around them.
House-trained: Yes!
Crate-trained: Yep!
Lollipop is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is available for adoption to residents of CT and surrounding states. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application from omdrescue.org.

When a dog is adopted through One More Dog, an adoption contract must be signed, and we ask that a donation in the amount of $500 ($350 for seniors) be made at the time of adoption to help our rescue cover a portion of the costs we incur through pull fees, vetting, and training.
Applications can be found here: http://www.omdrescue.org/adoptapp.html
*We will adopt to approved applicants (who are able to meet & adopt in person) who live in CT and the surrounding areas: New England, New York, and New Jersey.
