My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yuji is a cute and playful 4 month old puppy that is full of curiosity. He is very friendly towards people (kids too) and dogs. Yuji is very smart and is quick to learn. Things are looking up for Yuji. He was a scared baby caged in a noisy shelter but is now enjoying his foster home including a recent fun adventure to the beach.

Yuji will do well in a home as a second dog. He gets a bit nervous when he is left alone but is gaining confidence every day. He is also doing well in potty training but will need continued reinforcement. He is well on his way to reaching his potential of becoming a wonderful family dog.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption application can be completed electronically and emailed to us. The application are under the "Our Adoption Process" page of our website (1LuckyDogRescue.Org). Our goal is to set our dogs up for successful adoptions by finding adopters that are well suited for each of their personalities. A home visit is required prior to adoption. We will assist in introductions to other family members, both human and furry ones. Our adoption fee is $350.

We are a group of dedicated volunteers who believe dogs never choose to be homeless, they certainly do not deserve to be euthanized. We believe in giving these victims of circumstances a voice and kindness so they can have a second chance at life.
