My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌸🌺 Meet Willow, our beautiful 12-month-old rough-coated Collie bundle of joy! 🌺🌸 Like the gentle sway of her namesake tree, Willow is a happy, high-energy lady whose enthusiasm for life is as boundless as her love for people and playmates, especially those dogs over 20 pounds with whom she can romp around and share her joyful spirit.

Willow is a vibrant soul, seeking an equally active family who revels in outdoor adventures and is keen on embracing the fun and responsibilities of a young, spirited puppy. 🐾💨 Her perfect match is a family that enjoys the great outdoors, has a passion for engaging in energetic play, and values the joy of training sessions filled with love and laughter. Willow is not just looking for a home but a kingdom where her vibrant energy and zest for life can truly flourish.

Given her spirited nature, Willow's new home must have a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore, play, and soak up the sun. She dreams of a spacious outdoor realm where her adventures are safely contained within the loving boundaries of her forever home. 🏡✨

Willow is ready to weave her way into the heart of a homeowner who shares her enthusiasm for life and understands the commitment of nurturing a young puppy into a well-behaved adult dog. Her journey of learning and growth is already underway, and she's eager for a family that will guide her with patience, consistency, and a sprinkle of adventure.

Our delightful Willow is best suited for a family with no little humans under five. Her bubbly energy and exuberant playfulness are perfect for families with older children or adults who can match her lively pace and ensure a safe, joyful environment for everyone. 🌈👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Willow promises a life filled with cuddles, laughter, and loyalty. She's more than just a pet; she's a companion ready to fill your days with happiness and your heart with love. 🐕❤️ If you're a family that loves laughter, cherishes outdoor escapades, and is looking for a furry member to add excitement to your active lifestyle, Willow is waiting for you.

Are you ready to open your heart and home to this delightful soul? Willow is wagging her tail in anticipation of joining a family as loving and adventurous as she is. Let's make beautiful memories together with Willow! 🌼🐶💕

✨ She is looking to cast her roots in a home where her playful spirit and loving heart can flourish, surrounded by the beauty and vibrant community of Virginia Beach and its surrounds area.

More about this rescue

Coastal is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Virginia. We are a foster home based animal Shelter dedicated to finding loving new homes for unwanted, stray, and abandoned Shelties, Collies, Old English Sheepdogs, doodles and other small dogs. We serve Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, the District of Columbia, eastern West Virginia, and south central Pennsylvania, and are staffed solely by volunteers. We also strive to educate the public about the characteristics of the herding breed and the rewards of giving a home to a rescued dog.

The majority of the Coastal dogs are turned in to us by their previous owners.
