My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My foster writes: Christmas in July has been absolutely lovely from the get-go: super well-behaved, great on leash and walks, 1000% housebroken, and gentle with everyone, including children. She is dog, cat and kid-friendly, ready for a forever home. I do not believe I can take credit for any of this! CJ came into my house with a sweet and open spirit, already trained and well-behaved 😊

CJ is not fearful (she said hi to everyone who approached her at the event, as she does with everyone on our daily walks), she has never displayed any leash or harness sensitivity and in fact relishes her walks (I took her on a gnarly 7-mile hike today at Harriman and she was an absolute superdog) and she has ZERO reactiveness towards children (my 1 yo niece and 3 yo nephew love petting her and two very young children came up to her at the event yesterday and had very sweet interactions).

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.
