Meet Dottie, a sweet female American Foxhound mix weighing about 33 pounds, who came to the shelter as a stray on September 23, 2024. While her exact age is a bit of a mystery, she seems to be a young and playful spirit, without being overly energetic. Her hound nose loves to explore and sniff around, and she enjoys soaking up the sun.
Dottie is a hug-giver and a cuddler who loves to snuggle up next to you for some pets, offering the sweetest kisses in return. She was very friendly with everyone she met at the local pet supply store and got along well with other dogs in her foster home. She's also great around kids, making her an ideal family pet. Dottie thrives on human affection and would make a loyal companion. She has been a dream in her kennel, sleeping peacefully with no accidents.
