Mr. Bob Newhart, aptly named comedian pup, is just that: FUNNY! Whether flipping himself over to catch a self-tossed pinecone, rolling both over and under his BFF dog buddy, or repeatedly jumping up high on hind legs, this boy is entertaining all day long. Bob jumps, twists, hoppity-hops, runs and goodness knows, climbs! He has yet to meet another dog he doesn’t love.
He is surprisingly house trained from Foster Day 1 (when dutifully taken out). This tiny, 10 pound, 8-month-old sack-of-sugar has a voracious appetite, and what he doesn’t eat, he chews. Bob can never be confused with a sofa-sitting cutie pie. While the cuteness certainly fits, he is quick to wiggle when things get too still or slow.
Though new to a leash, he is already quite able to walk, run, sniff, and hike easily for over an hour. Seemingly fearless, his foster brother has taught him how to drink out of the hose that was initially scaring him. He is hilariously adventurous and loves to try out and interact with all new things. He has altered his foster brothers’ toys in the notion of “all things chewable.” When left out in his room, though, he is not remotely destructive but targets dog things for chewing! When called, this sweet boy will run at top speed with a melting smile, fly into your lap, and set himself comfortably for a little break.
Bob loves people, any and all ages, and goes to whomever appears willing. He is a dream pup who is looking for adopters who will give and get smooches and cuddles once he’s depleted that precious puppy energy. Bob instantly responds to routine and does best when he can predictably play, eat, rest, potty, cuddle, and sleep. While rocking him, he hopped down from lap, skipped across his room, and put himself into his crate! He sleeps beautifully through the night. This boy is perfect!
(Bob Newhart will have cherry eye surgery before he goes to his adoptive home. This does not make him less than Perfect. To me, that will make him Perfect Plus!)
