My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sal is a 1 year old Male Chi~weenie, a mix between a Chihuahua and Dachshund. He is confident, playful, feisty, and loves to give and receive affection. He likes playing with other dogs and good with children who are gentle and respectful of him.  Sal is a special needs dog, he has a manageable case of liver disease, a relatively common disorder among older dogs but for some reason he developed it at a young age. Sal’s treatment is easy, he eats a low protein diet and takes daily stool softeners and he is good to go. (not to worry no diarrhea, stool softeners are taken to a sure daily bowl movement) Sal will make a wonderful companion or family. Big Hearts Need Only Apply!

* Adoption fee’s includes, Microchip, Rabies, Parvo/Distemper and Bordetella vaccines, Heartworm Test, De-wormed, and monthly Heartworm and Flea/Tick Prevention.
