My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Regina is a spirited explorer who loves to chase after toys and investigate every corner of her kingdom. Her playful antics are sure to keep you entertained, and she has a knack for turning everyday moments into grand adventures. When she's not busy conquering her play area, you'll find her snuggling up for some quality cuddle time, purring contentedly as she soaks up all the love. This sweet girl is social and friendly, making her a perfect companion for families, kids, or even other pets. She's already mastered her litter box skills and is ready to settle into her forever home.

My adoption fee is only $100, and that includes my spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, flea/mite preventives, AND FIV/FELV test!

Think I might be the perfect fit for your home? You can apply for me here https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/ OR you can apply in person when you come visit me any day during business hours! You can even adopt me that same day once approved!!

Please Note: All adoptions are on a first-come first served basis with approved adoption applicants. We do not hold animals unless the adoption is out-of-state, and fees apply. The animal's welfare is our first and only priority, in doing so, they are moved from the shelter into their respective homes as quickly, & humanely as possible to remove the risk of undergoing extreme stress, immune system compromission, & behavioral concerns.

DISCLAIMER: Genetic Breed accuracy is NOT guaranteed; we assess by the following:

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
