About Sabrina:

Hi, my name is Sabrina. I am shy at first, but once I learn the layout of my home and come out of my shell, I love to play! I am teething right now, so chew toys and rope toys are my favorite (and shoes, but my foster parents don't let me chew them)! I get random bursts of energy and then love to lay around with my foster family. I enjoy going outside to sniff and explore my surroundings. I don't shed a lot right now, but that could change as the seasons do and I grow out of my puppy fur.

I currently live with a lab puppy and older small dog. The lab and I play great! I leave the smaller dog alone because she doesn't like to play like I do. When I am around cats I am cautious, and don't play with them much but like to watch. I am also great with kids! I am shy when brought to new places or meeting new people. New people often call me "calm and "quiet, but my foster parents know that I can be spunky and occasionally bark when playing with friends. Overall, I am sweet and curious. I am fully crate trained, and go in when told "kennel, but I am still working on getting fully potty trained. My foster home uses bells and I learned those quick, but use them to go outside and hangout more than a signal I have to pee. If brought out often, I don't have accidents. I love food and am very food motivated. I will "sit on command, and especially for a treat!

I would do great in a home with another dog my size (medium or large) who can keep up and wrestle with me. I would also love a yard to explore, or somebody that will take me out on walks often. I need somebody active that will be patient with me as I am teething and still learning to potty outside. I can't wait to meet you!

Sabrina is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
