Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Buttercup. I'm a spunky, independent little girl who can be a little shy at first but will warm up to you in no time at all. I'm super playful and love to chase my toys all over my foster room. I love to be up high. You can often find me snuggling with my sisters Blossom and Bubbles at the top of our cat tree. I look pretty similar to my sister Bubbles but you can tell us apart because I'm more solid gray and she has more stripes. I'm an indoor cat only and fully litterbox trained. I'm looking for my forever home and I think yours could be the perfect fit!

Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
